The Beginning

 

‘The Absolute stood in the everywhere

unreached by knowledge,

being itself knowledge.

And afterwards it dreamt outside time

with a dream which brought time to life,

so that the Self should unfold

in the beauty of that truth

which seems much more like fancy.

But in their heart they know

that the truth of life

is that gaze of the Soul

which spreads through the beings

and gives to the symbols of the earth

an aim to have in their depth,

to vanquish that death

which behind the veils of the senses

lurks like a void

fooling life

that it is an illusion. …’
