The boat was dreaming of lands far off, sun-drenched shores through the boatmen’s imagination, the grains of sand as big as stars and the blue of the sky shines with unexpected pleasure in the visit of the sun. The boat of the Carpenter of Nazareth passed through the ocean of solitude, in the dead of night with waves of vanity, voyaged as far as the shore of peace beyond time. The message reached distant cities: ‘Behold, I make all things new’, and the cross became a boat of life on the seas of oblivion, His dream. (Photograph by Yiannis Zisis) |
