The Death of the Rabbit

Playful with every bit of its nature,

the dream in the meadow’s grass.

It went into death with nobility,

the grace of goodness the same

in life and death,

but then again it returns

to the same friends with the same grace.’

From the poem ‘The Death of the Rabbit’, by Yiannis Zisis
